How Do You Build a Successful Career as a Therapist?

For new therapists just out of school and even those who have been in the industry for several years, building a successful and lucrative career can have speed bumps each step of the way. Although school can teach you how to be a impactful therapist, it does not teach you how to build a business and stay in demand. The field of psychology is constantly changing and it is imperative for therapists to stay up to date with the way that technology and other factors affect how they run a practice. We want to know, from those who have built their own careers, what does it take to go from small time to a busy practice? And, what does it take to stay on top?
